Guadeloupean producer Motsek and Zimbabwean singer Lalla Martin collaborated on a joint Afro House EP Echoes of Us
The project features Lalla’s vocals with Martin as composer accompanied by French artist Julien Mercier on the trumpet.
“Siyakuphi” the first song on the EP is a haunting question in Lalla’s native tongue (Zoulou) : Where are we going? A raw reflection on a youth lost to addiction and silence — the echo of a world adrift, searching for direction, meaning, and a way back home.
