Olamide has introduced a new artistic alter ego on Instagram, sharing a separate page featuring his artwork and videos of himself creating new paintings.
The rapper tagged the new page in a recent Instagram post, alongside several pieces of artwork and clips showing him working on paintings.
“I got tired of waiting for Baddo to complete his project, so I’m now working with this guy,” Olamide wrote in the post.
The new page appears to mark a separate creative outlet for Olamide, focused on his visual art alongside his music.
Mavo has apologised for past tweets about Davido, Rema, Ayra Starr, Erica and other celebrities after the posts recently resurfaced online.
One of the resurfaced tweets was posted in September 2020 while Erica was a contestant on Big Brother Naija. Mavo wrote, “I hate this Erica babe Fr fr.” After the post resurfaced, Erica quoted the tweet, replying, “Lol wow but you were nice to me when we met.”
Mavo also previously described Ayra Starr as “mid.” The pair have since collaborated on the remix of Mavo’s breakout single “Escaladizzy.”
Since breaking out in 2025, Mavo has also collaborated with Davido on “Nakupenda” and the remix of “Shakabulizzy.”
Addressing his past criticism, Mavo said he was “a bad entertainment critic” when he started university and eventually stopped focusing on criticism to concentrate on his music.
“My criticism sadly unfortunately & unintentionally hurt quite a number of people & i’m honestly sorry,” he wrote. Mavo added that he has met many of the people he previously criticised and found them to be “amazing people,” describing his earlier views as a “misjudgment.”
Davido, Fally Ipupa and Rema have been announced as headliners for Afro Nation Portugal 2027, scheduled for June 9–11 at Praia da Rocha in Portimão, Portugal.
The lineup also includes Omah Lay, Shenseea, Odeal, Valiant, Victony, Bamby, Miimii KDS and South Gidi Experience on the Lit stage. GIMS has also been announced as a special guest.
The Piano People stage will feature Kabza De Small, TxC, Dlala Thukzin, 031 Choppa, 2woBunnies, Young Stunna, Zee Nxumalo and others. The Afrotronic stage lineup includes Caiiro, Djeff, Jamiie, Aniko and JNR SA.
The 2027 edition will take place earlier than the festival’s usual July dates. Afro Nation has confirmed that the three-day event will return to Praia da Rocha, with tickets already on sale.
American Grammy-winning producer Slikk Muzik has welcomed a baby girl and named her Ayra Starr.
The producer shared photos of his newborn daughter on Instagram Stories, writing “Ayra Starr Offord 09.21.26. Daddy love you 4L” alongside the first picture.
In another post, the baby is seen wearing a white wool onesie with “Ayra” written in pink across the front, paired with a pink headband featuring a large bow.

Davido joined Aliko Dangote and members of his family in New York for the unveiling of a Dangote Petroleum Refinery billboard in Times Square.
The digital billboard carries the message “Made in Nigeria. Built for the World” alongside images of the refinery. Dangote was pictured at the Times Square display with his daughters Fatima Aliko-Dangote and Mariya Aliko-Dangote, as well as other members of the company’s leadership team.
Fatima and Mariya are both Group Executive Directors at Dangote Industries Limited, overseeing commercial operations across different areas of the business. Davido was also photographed with Dangote, Fatima and Mariya during the New York appearance.
The Times Square unveiling comes days after Rema shared screenshots of a video call with Dangote on his Instagram Story. The post came as Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s initial public offering opened in Nigeria on September 14, with 4.1 billion ordinary shares offered at ₦525 each.
The refinery’s public offer is scheduled to close on October 13.
