Rolling Stone has released it list of the best Afropop songs of 2023.

As expected, the list includes the big names like Burna Boy, Tems and Rema and recent Grammy nominees Davido, Asake and Ayra Starr.

Also on the list are less recognizable names such as Jungeli, Nviiri the Storyteller and Dlala Thukzin.

Odumodublvck , Spyro, Libianca, Bloody Civilian other breakout stars of the year occupy a coveted spot on the coveted list.

While 23-year-old South African singer Tyla who took over TikTok with her smash hit “Water” occupies the top spot.
