    This project originated in Cuba in 2019, where he and his brother had the opportunity to forge deep bounds interwining music and frienship. The result of this experience is both explosive and surprising. 

    Wichy de Vedado, one of the pioneers of the electronic music scene in Cuba, doing a remix for Los Hermanos del Alma sounds like a powerful collaboration. 

    His electronic touch combined with the organic and spiritual vibe of Los Hermanos del Alma could create a truly rich and unique fusion.

    Finish Producer  Breathing Statue Blends Dubstep and Rock in New Track “Tears My Heart”

    Finnish electronic music producer Breathing Statue, the stage name of Ilari Halonen, has released a new single “Tears My Heart” from his latest EP Pandora’s Box.

    This high energy track boldly fuses tearout dubstep with rock influences, delivering a powerful emotional message about overcoming personal trauma and the destructive nature of violence.

    “Tears My Heart is very personal for me,” says Breathing Statue. “I poured my pain and hope into this track to transform trauma into strength. It’s heavy and energetic, but at its core it’s about healing and the courage to overcome.”

    Breathing Statue, who works as a church musician in Joensuu, now sets his sights on reaching audiences beyond his hometown. 

    He has been passionate about video games and electronic music since the 1990s – a love that laid the foundation for his dynamic, genre-blending sound. Halonen aspires to connect with international listeners and share his music through live performances on global stages.

    Over the years, Breathing Statue has independently released more than seven albums and EPs, including a newly remastered album titled Performance.

    Japanese Cannes Lions-Winning Composer Yuma Yamaguchi Launches New Project “Concordia”

    Yuma Yamaguchi—a Cannes Lions Award-winning  composer known for his work in film, TV, and commercials—has launched a new music project titled Concordia

    The project kicks off with the release of the original track “Concordia” on Wednesday, April 2, followed by a biweekly remix series featuring top-tier musicians from around the globe.

    Originally composed for CONCORDIA, Japan’s largest-scale interactive beach art projection event held at Odaiba Beach Park from November 2023 to January 2024, the track showcases Yamaguchi’s signature blend of minimalistic piano and orchestral textures. Featuring frequent collaborator and vocalist RANU, the piece builds to a powerful finale with intense percussion and beats.

    The remix series features contributions from:

    • Yuta Bandoh, acclaimed for his collaborations with artists like Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru

    Utada, and for scoring projects such as Kaiju No. 8, and Belle.

    • bastiengoat, a California-based producer whose tracks have been played by top DJs worldwide, including during Yaeji’s set at Boiler Room: New York.

    • Dorian Concept, the Vienna-born keyboardist and producer known for collaborations with Flying Lotus and Thundercat, who brings his intricate sonic palette to the project.

    The music video, starring the performance collective NOMENTokyo, premiered on April 2  Directed by Shogo Tominaga (LQVE), the video is a collaboration with creative unit SEKAISEIFUKU—a partnership between Tominaga and NOMENTokyo—who translate the musical universe of Concordia into a lyrical and dreamlike visual narrative.

    Artwork is by the acclaimed visual artist buggy, with logo and graphic design by Shunsuke Kosaka.

    “Healing”  blends Afro House rhythms with Indian instrumentation.

    “We are glad Munivar has arrived, this arrival took about a year and there is a lot more in the works” said Kasturi Rangan, co-founder of Auranova Studios.

    “This song has so many layers. It showcases what a truly international track can be, featuring percussion and oud from India, production in the U.S., and a global team that brought it to life,” added Carlos Marcelo Cuevas.
