Barcelona-based DJ and producer Sergi Shine has released “BUYA!”, a new Afro House and Tribal House single that brings organic percussion, electronic production and tropical melodic elements together.
Released on July 2, 2026, “BUYA!” is built around a driving tribal percussion groove and a prominent marimba melody. The organic instrumentation gives the track a bright, tropical character, while a deep sub-bass and electronic production provide its club-focused foundation.
The arrangement moves between rhythmic percussion, warm analog-inspired tones and a more forceful electronic sound. A central drop gives the track a stronger change in energy, while the marimba remains one of its defining musical elements.
Sergi Shine says the track was inspired by the connection between rhythm, percussion and modern club culture. The marimba was used to introduce a lighter, more atmospheric quality alongside the heavier Afro House groove.
Based in the Barcelona area, Sergi Shine’s production style draws from electronic music, tribal rhythms, cumbia and Afro House. His work combines organic sound design with electronic production, reflecting an interest in bringing traditional rhythmic elements into contemporary dance music.
