Miami-based, Colombian-born singer-songwriter Mirey Mualin has released “So I Hear (You Love Me),” an Afrobeats-pop song about taking a chance on a potential relationship after hearing someone express their feelings.
Released on September 25, 2026, the track combines a violin opening with a relaxed Afrobeats groove and Afro-house influences. At approximately 102 BPM, the arrangement gradually builds while maintaining a mellow rhythm.
Mualin wrote the lyrics and describes the song as a moment of uncertainty that leads to a decision to explore a romantic connection. Her music spans Caribbean pop, retro soul, Afro-house and hip-hop.
Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Mualin is a bilingual artist based in Miami, where she also works in real estate. She uses artificial intelligence in her production process, which she describes as her “digital orchestra.”
“So I Hear (You Love Me)” is available on streaming platforms.
