DJ Bl4ckstar has released his debut single, “Siyabusa.”
The track blends Amapiano, Afro-house, and Afro-fusion influences, built around rolling log drums, deep basslines, hypnotic vocal chants, and a groove designed for the dancefloor. Structured with DJs in mind, the four-minute production emphasizes rhythmic progression and club-ready energy.
The title “Siyabusa,” derived from the Zulu phrase meaning “we reign,” reflects the record’s central theme of confidence and arrival. According to the artist, the song serves as the opening chapter of the DJ Bl4ckstar project.
DJ Bl4ckstar is a UK-based producer and DJ whose work explores the intersection of Amapiano, Afro-house, electronic music, and global sounds. “Siyabusa” marks the first release from the project and introduces the Afro-electronic direction of the independent label Kudzu Reverie.
