Rwandan artist Ishimwe Manoa has released “Playa,” a new song that combines Afrobeats, Dancehall and pop influences.
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in East Africa, Manoa is now based in Los Angeles. His music incorporates elements of East African musical traditions alongside contemporary Afrobeat and pop production.
Previous releases include “I’m in Love,” “TEKAWE,” “IGIRAHINO” and “HOME.” Manoa has described his music as a way of representing his roots, particularly the East African sounds he associates with home.

Soweto-born artist The duece has released “Sphalaphala,” a new Amapiano single produced by Mjaykeyz.
The song combines soulful vocal samples, log drums and Amapiano rhythms, with lyrics about being drawn to someone after seeing them for the first time and deciding to pursue them.
According to The duece, “Sphalaphala” is about “that girl that makes you go crazy” and the decision to shoot your shot. The song follows his previous release “Takasita Radio.”
An official music video for “Sphalaphala” is scheduled for release on November 8, 2026.

Lojay has visited the Paystack offices following a shout-out to the Nigerian payments company in his song “Money Lingo.”
The visit comes after Paystack CEO Shola Akinlade acknowledged the reference in the song. After hearing the lyric, “Shey you get Paystack login, make I press you one or two!”, Akinlade shared the song on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Haha did i just hear Paystack.”
Lojay later shared footage from his visit to the Paystack office on social media, following the exchange with Akinlade.
The singer has also shared a video of himself singing “Money Lingo” with Folashade Adeleke. The pair have previously sparked dating rumours and have shared moments together on social media.
Lojay previously said the song was inspired by his father, sharing a video of his father singing along to “Money Lingo” and writing, “Na my papa be this.”

Seattle-based composer and songwriter Matthew Paul Menovcik has released his latest album, “With What Little Light Is Left.”
