Twelve XII blends Afrobeats, Amapiano and Fuji influences on new single “Like 2 Dance”

Twelve XII has released a new single titled “Like 2 Dance.”

The self-produced track combines Afrobeats and Amapiano with subtle Fuji influences, built around groovy percussion, log drums, warm Rhodes textures, cinematic string arrangements, and melodic instrumentation.

“Like 2 Dance” explores the excitement of instant attraction on the dancefloor, using rhythm-driven production to capture the energy of a chance encounter. According to Twelve XII, the song was inspired by the feeling of someone immediately capturing your attention and translates that emotion into movement and sound.

The release highlights a more playful side of the artist’s musical style while maintaining the detailed production and songwriting that characterize his work.

Twelve XII is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, producer, and sound engineer whose music blends alternative R&B, future soul, Afro-fusion, and Afrobeats. He has previously featured on Show Dem Camp’s Palmwine Music Vol. 3, contributed as a songwriter for Asa, and received support from Tems through her Apple Music Radio show.

“Like 2 Dance” is available on streaming platforms.
