Nigerian artist Pee fresh has released a new single titled “What Would Wednesday Do”
The track is built around a simple concept: reimagining Wednesday as a night associated with nightlife, casual romance, and spontaneous social activity rather than a typical midweek pause.
The song is framed as a midweek “cruise” record, drawing on familiar Afrobeats elements such as club-oriented production, street slang, and light romantic or sexual themes. The central idea plays on the question “What would Wednesday do?”, using it as a narrative device for nightlife scenarios and flirtation.
Pee Fresh (born Praise Richard) is from Arogbo in Ondo State and is currently based in Lagos.
His musical influences include Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Michael Jackson, and Wizkid.
