Yass is back on Haute Couture Music with a new release “Biscotte”, in collaboration with the talented Swiss producer James Deron.
The story of this song and its artistic balance make it a unique piece work. The cross made between Afro House, House and its vocal influences inspired from Trip Hop, Acid Jazz and Gospel takes you through a real journey.
Recorded in Saint Martin studios, produced partly in Geneva and in Paris, mixed in New York, it is evocative of a real melting pot. The interpreter is no other than the Canadian singer Tanya Michelle, who put all her talent and her exceptional voice into the interpretation of warm lyrics.
Despite the strong presence of an Afro House rhythmic groove and deep atmosphere, this is typically the kind of cross-border piece that Haute Couture Music likes to present to talented artists across different scenes.

International DJ, producer, remixer and co-founder of the Parisian label Haute Couture Music, YASS has become one of the emblematic figures of the French “House music” scene as much by his tracks, with very recognizable sounds, as by his live sets which transcend the dancefloors !
YASS has over 33 years of experience spinning music and captivating audiences and fans in over 72 countries. He worked on Radio FG with his own show during 6 years, he had the opportunity to play in the most famous clubs around the world.
He has rubbed shoulders with many well-known Dj’s such as Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer… From Deep House to Techno, his unique sets could be qualified as « Pumping House » with a mix of French and New York influences. His goal remains homogeneity of his mixes, a House music cultural experience, and a real show and harmony with his audience.
His heavyweight tracks have been released on iconic labels such as Defected, Nervous or Moblack and many more, making him stand out as a top international DJ and producer. YASS’s most famous productions such as “He Reigns”, “Been a long time” or “Deliver us” reached the top of the charts.
Always eager for a challenge, he decided to start a new adventure and with two partners, he created a new label based in Paris called HAUTE COUTURE MUSIC. Also, YASS made his dreams come true : distribute his own music and produce other artists by putting his skills and experience to work with the new generation.
About James Deron
James Deron is above all a deejay and producer. In November 2019, he was able to put his dream into action and create his label company : EWBS MUSIC In this company there are labels : CAFE CREME RECORDS, ROHM RECORDS, NERVOUS MONKEY MUSIC and 1886 LAKE RECORDS.
For the record, James Deron began to move music in the late 90s. Gradually, he has won in his city as one of the best talents of his generation.
It is became resident of the largest Geneva radio station: ONE FM; and the biggest discotheques in French-speaking Switzerland. From the early 2000s until today, he travels the world through his passion, sharing his own sound and transmitting to all his fans the love he brings to house music.
