Haitian artist Richy Jay has released the official music video for “Vagabon,” his afro-konpa single released on August 28, 2026.
Directed and produced by Monstrosity Inc., the video is set in a Haitian barbershop, where friends gather for an evening of music, dominoes and dancing. The setting reflects the song’s focus on social gatherings and celebrating with friends.
Performed in Haitian Creole, “Vagabon” draws on konpa and contemporary Afro-pop, with Caribbean influences. Its lyrics centre on enjoying a night out and keeping the atmosphere free of conflict.
The single was composed by EkaySounds (Ekemini John) and DJ Snake Haïti (Berlindjerry Giraud), recorded at 7Recordz and mixed and mastered by Planet Studio.
“Vagabon” is available on streaming platforms.
