Nigerian violinist and violist Governor’s Violinist has released “Caesar,” a new single featuring vocalist Islambo.
The track combines live violin with Afrobeats rhythms, with Governor’s Violinist’s instrumental performance forming a central part of the production. Islambo provides the lead vocals, adding a contemporary vocal layer to the violin-led arrangement.
Known for incorporating classical strings into contemporary Nigerian music, Governor’s Violinist has worked with artists including Seyi Vibez, Olamide, Asake, Rema and Omah Lay.
M4RIN, ANDAMERA, Cebow M and Swann Decamme have released “The Way,” an Afro House collaboration featuring New York vocalist LOFT 93.
The track combines organic percussion and deep grooves with a melodic vocal hook, giving the production a warm and rhythmic character.
LOFT 93 provides the lead vocals, while the production brings together electronic and Afro House elements. The collaboration connects artists from France, Ibiza, South Africa and New York.
“The Way” is released through Curiosity Music and is accompanied by an official music video.
Mildrex has released the single “Sexual Feeling (SF),” a track about attraction, chemistry and the emotional intensity between two people.
The song addresses desire and romantic tension directly, using an intimate atmosphere and energetic production to explore the feelings that can develop between partners.
“Sexual Feeling (SF)” presents Mildrex with a direct vocal and lyrical approach, focusing on personal expression and sensuality rather than subtlety.
Nigerian artists Mard Prince and CollinsMerit have released their collaborative EP, “Sweetness.”
Released on September 4, the four-track project features “LIKE,” “FOR YOU,” “OMO TON SO” and “MIRO.”
The opening track, “LIKE,” explores intimacy, attraction and the experience of wanting to spend time with someone special. Smooth melodies and rhythmic production provide the backdrop for the song’s focus on romantic connection.
Across “Sweetness,” Mard Prince and CollinsMerit combine melodic and rhythmic elements, with each artist bringing their own vocal approach to the collaboration.
Haitian-American artist Stephanie Saint-Come has released “Palpitations,” a song based on a poem by Haitian author Ronald Painson. Produced with Grammy Award-winning Jamaican-American producer Major Seven, the track combines Afrobeat and dancehall influences with a ballad structure.
Painson, who is originally from Pétion-Ville, Haiti, and now lives in Canada, wrote the poem about the physical and emotional response associated with falling in love at first sight. Stephanie Saint-Come initially understood the poem to be titled “Mon Corps,” or “My Body,” before learning that its actual title was “Palpitations.” The title refers to the racing heart and involuntary physical sensations described in the work and carries the same meaning in English and French.
The song’s accompanying visual was directed by Miami-raised filmmaker Gil Green. Its narrative uses an elevator sequence as a transition between the routine of working life and a heightened emotional state. The elevator set was constructed at Greynolds Park for the production.
Additional scenes were filmed at Miami’s Hurrem Hammam, where the setting of a Turkish bath provides the backdrop for the song’s exploration of fantasy and desire. Cinematographer Joe Labisi, ASC, filmed Stephanie Saint-Come in the location’s interior spaces.
“Palpitations” was released on September 11, 2026, and is available on streaming platforms.
