Guadeloupean singer-songwriter Alex Alidor has released “ANKA INKI,” a new single drawing from Afro-Caribbean musical traditions.
His sound combines Gwo Ka, reggae, bolero and slow-tempo influences, connecting Caribbean rhythms with African musical roots. Alidor releases his music independently through DistroKid.
Alongside his music, Alidor is working on his first book, described as an autobiographical account exploring love, resilience and personal struggles. He is also continuing work in the studio.
“ANKA INKI” is available on streaming platforms.
