American producer Mike Crook who gained recognition for his work with Blueface, Tyga and YG is sharing a House Music version of “Too Close” the biggest hit by 90s R&B group, Next.
Born on Christmas Day in Pasadena, California Mike’s early musical influences included the vibrant energy of Blink-182 and the gritty flow of Tupac. With his growing passion fueled and nurtured by his fascination with the music videos on MTV Base and an an electronic drum set he requested as a child.

The now multi-platinum hitmaker was also a passionate sportsman, playing American football, baseball and basketball in high school.
However, an unexpected visit to a psychic medium in 2012, following the the tragic death of his father the following year led to a message that would change the course of his life: “Save your arm and focus on doing something with music.”
But wasn’t until his senior year of high school that Mike fully embraced the call. Armed with GarageBand, he began creating beats, and soon after, he upgraded to Logic Pro.
He has since worked with global superstars like Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj. His production on Doja Cat’s “Like That” ft. Gucci Mane stands as a landmark moment in his career—a track that blends the infectious rhythms of pop and rap, a true testament to his versatility.
