Nigerian artist Tentone has released “Struggle,” a song about hard work, perseverance and pursuing personal goals despite difficulties.
The track centres on the challenges that come with trying to build a better life, with themes of pain, ambition and staying focused on long-term dreams. It presents the pursuit of success as a process that requires persistence through difficult circumstances.
“Struggle” follows Tentone’s previous releases, including “Trench Boy,” “Ko Funny,” “Truth or Dare,” “BBM (Born By Mistake)” and “IRÉ (Goodness).”
Norwegian-Congolese artist Elvic Kongolo has released “Time’s Up,” a disco-funk track that explores the pressure of providing for loved ones and the temporary relief music can offer.
The song centres on the responsibility of supporting family while managing concerns about the future. Its verses address the desire to provide more, while the chorus turns to dancing as a way to find a moment of release without setting those responsibilities aside.
Running for two minutes and 35 seconds, “Time’s Up” combines elements of 1970s and 1980s disco-funk with Afropop and contemporary dance-pop. Kongolo wrote and produced the track, which includes the line “I need the DJ to save my soul.”
Based in Sortland, Northern Norway, Kongolo sings in English, French and Norwegian. His previous releases include “Tequila,” “Let Them Be,” “Beautiful Monday,” “A Change Is Gonna Come” and “Our Story.”
Italian electronic trio The Diffidati have released “DASPO,” their debut single, combining house and tech house with football terrace chants and lyrics influenced by Roman dialect.
Formed in Rome in 2024 by LASCO, DJ AGENT47 and PANENKA, the group takes its name from the Italian stadium ban known as a DASPO. The song reinterprets the restriction as a metaphor for exclusion and barriers, using football culture to explore resistance to rules and expectations.
The track combines dance rhythms with group chants and a lyrical approach that draws on irony and observations of everyday life. The group uses stadium culture as a reference point for collective identity and defiance, without aligning the project with specific political affiliations.
The accompanying music video was filmed among the ruins of a Roman villa, combining football imagery with an underground visual style. The Diffidati produce their music independently, with further releases planned for 2026 and 2027.
loveoleglove has released “Through the Glass (Violin),” an electronic track that explores emotional distance and the difference between perceived comfort and direct experience.
The song uses the image of winter sunlight passing through a window to examine how barriers can change the way people experience warmth and connection. Its lyrics extend the metaphor to smartphone screens and the distance they can create between people, questioning what may be lost when digital communication replaces face-to-face interaction.
The production combines electronic rhythms with violin, which serves as the track’s emotional centre. While the electronic pulse represents control and restraint, the violin expresses the feelings that struggle to emerge from behind those barriers.
Asake performed at London’s The O2 Arena on Thursday, October 15, as part of his In God We Trust World Tour, marking his third performance at the venue. The show featured appearances from Blaqbonez, BNXN and Darkoo, while South African DJ duo TXC and BNXN were billed as special guests.

Asake brought out Blaqbonez to perform their collaborations “Chanel” and “Ikebe 3000.” The performance reunited the artists, who became friends while studying at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife. Blaqbonez has previously revealed that Asake helped him with backing vocals during their early years, before either artist achieved mainstream success.
