Indian electronic music producer Nishant Bisht, who records as Aham-Brahmashm!, has released his new single, “RamRam,” through Café De Anatolia.
The progressive house track is built around the repeated chanting of the name “Ram,” combining electronic rhythms with atmospheric and meditative elements. The vocal repetition serves as the central motif of the record, while layered production gives the track a hypnotic quality.
The idea behind “RamRam” is connected to a story Bisht began writing as a child. He recalls keeping a notebook of stories, including one about a mysterious man born on Earth. The notebook was eventually lost and the story was left unfinished.
Years later, while developing music as Aham-Brahmashm!, Bisht began noticing connections between some of his songs, titles and ideas. He describes “RamRam” as another part of that developing narrative, with the music becoming a way to continue ideas that had previously existed as writing.
The track also went through a revision process before its release. An earlier version was rejected by record label Café De Anatolia for not fitting its genre direction, prompting Bisht to rebuild the record before submitting it again.
Aham-Brahmashm! is Bisht’s electronic music project, with his work spanning chill, melodic, progressive, tech and Afro-influenced electronic styles.
