VOS has released an Amapiano mix of “I See You See Me,” offering a slower interpretation of the track through a blend of Amapiano and Afro House.
The original song explores the unspoken exchanges that can happen between people through eye contact, from attraction and curiosity to the feeling of being understood or judged without speaking.
The new mix shifts the track’s rhythm, placing a deeper log drum and a more relaxed groove at the centre of the arrangement. Its production moves between pauses and returning percussion, while retaining the song’s focus on the subtle interactions between two people.
The accompanying artwork places the scene on a rooftop at golden hour, with four women gathered against a city backdrop. One looks directly towards the viewer, reflecting the song’s theme of observation and being seen.
The Amapiano mix joins the track’s other versions, including the Main Mix, Midnight Mix and After Hours.
The Amapiano mix of “I See You See Me” is available on streaming platforms.
