Nigerian vocalist and rapper Reinbow has released a new single, “Skambo,” blending Afrobeats with elements of hip-hop, R&B and dancehall.
The track features an energetic vocal delivery, drawing on the different genres that inform Reinbow’s sound. The release also reflects his approach to songwriting, which centres on expressing personal experiences through music.
Born Yehdidah Michael Noel, Reinbow is from Abia State. He was born in Abuja and spent much of his childhood in Anambra State, moving between different places as he grew up. He has described music as a source of comfort and consistency during that period.
