Springcar Teaming Magic Box has released its new single, “Arabiastorm,” an electronic track that combines energetic EDM with rhythm-focused production.
The track is built around a driving rhythmic foundation and two melodic lines that interact throughout the arrangement. The melodies alternate and respond to each other before coming together toward the track’s climax.
“Arabiastorm” also incorporates layered electronic sound design, creating a mix of rhythmic movement and atmospheric textures. The production draws on elements of experimental electronic music and cinematic sound.
The release follows Springcar Teaming Magic Box’s approach to combining electronic production with imaginative musical concepts.
Nigerian artist Gwan Moko has released his new single, “ZOZA,” a song shaped by his personal experiences with faith, purpose and family.
According to Gwan, the record came to him unexpectedly at a time when he was not actively looking for a song or trying to develop a particular sound. He initially did not fully understand the record but came to view it as a personal confirmation of his faith and beliefs.
His mother was also involved during the creation of “ZOZA,” making the recording process a significant family experience for the artist.
Musically, the song pairs its spiritual themes with a groovy and uplifting sound. Gwan describes the record as being about maintaining faith during periods of uncertainty and finding meaning in unexpected moments.
For Gwan, “ZOZA” represents his belief in God’s presence and the continued unfolding of his purpose.
Indian electronic music producer Nishant Bisht, who records as Aham-Brahmashm!, has released his new single, “RamRam,” through Café De Anatolia.
The progressive house track is built around the repeated chanting of the name “Ram,” combining electronic rhythms with atmospheric and meditative elements. The vocal repetition serves as the central motif of the record, while layered production gives the track a hypnotic quality.
The idea behind “RamRam” is connected to a story Bisht began writing as a child. He recalls keeping a notebook of stories, including one about a mysterious man born on Earth. The notebook was eventually lost and the story was left unfinished.
Years later, while developing music as Aham-Brahmashm!, Bisht began noticing connections between some of his songs, titles and ideas. He describes “RamRam” as another part of that developing narrative, with the music becoming a way to continue ideas that had previously existed as writing.
The track also went through a revision process before its release. An earlier version was rejected by record label Café De Anatolia for not fitting its genre direction, prompting Bisht to rebuild the record before submitting it again.
Aham-Brahmashm! is Bisht’s electronic music project, with his work spanning chill, melodic, progressive, tech and Afro-influenced electronic styles.
Nigerian artist Laredo has released his new single, “Elon Musk,” a track that brings together hip-hop and Afrobeats influences.
Born Olanrewaju Yusuf in Ilorin, Kwara State, Laredo is a songwriter and artist whose music draws from African rhythms and contemporary hip-hop. His work explores themes including ambition, resilience, love and everyday experiences.
On “Elon Musk,” Laredo continues to work across rap and melodic approaches, reflecting the combination of hip-hop and Afrobeat influences present in his music.
Toronto-based artist The Name Is TT has released “Tour du Monde,” a French-language single rooted in Bouyon.
The track was first performed by TT at Pride Toronto’s Blockorama, an event celebrating Black and Caribbean communities during Toronto’s Pride celebrations.
“Tour du Monde” explores themes of movement, freedom and living without limits, with its lyrics and rhythmic production drawing on Caribbean influences. The song reflects TT’s connection to the multicultural music scene in Toronto while incorporating elements of her broader musical background.
TT is a second-generation Congolese-Canadian artist whose music draws from Afro-fusion, R&B, hip-hop and contemporary pop. She performs in French, Lingala and English, incorporating different aspects of her cultural background into her music.
Multidisciplinary artist Hugh O has released “Dogma,” a new single that introduces his latest body of work.
The release comes as Hugh O prepares to put out a larger collection of music comprising 11 albums and 139 singles. Each of the 11 albums is set to contain nine tracks, with the singles forming an additional part of the project.
“Dogma” is part of Hugh O’s ongoing exploration of different sounds and melodic approaches. Since beginning his musical journey in 2023, the artist has worked across different styles, with upcoming projects set to explore soft techno, atmospheric compositions and classical influences.
The forthcoming releases draw from Hugh O’s inspirations and emotions, with each project taking a different approach to his musical direction.
Rwandan-American artist OLD WASP blends Afro House, electronic music, trance and R&B on his latest release, “2AM.”
The track is built around a heavy, hypnotic groove, with intimate male vocals set against atmospheric electronic production. Its arrangement leans into the mood of the early hours, combining dancefloor-oriented rhythms with a more subdued and intimate tone.
“2AM” reflects OLD WASP’s approach to combining trance and EDM influences with Afro House rhythms. The artist describes his sound as a mix of uplifting and progressive trance, Afro House and late-night romance, with an emphasis on rhythm and vocal-driven emotion.
Gus Ormo releases six-track instrumental album “Ágape”
Venezuelan singer, composer and pianist Gus Ormo has released “Ágape,” a six-track instrumental album that places his piano playing at the center of the project.
The album was developed over 12 years and marks a departure from Ormo’s vocal-led work. Without vocals, the piano serves as the primary instrument across tracks including “Claroscuro,” “Latidos,” “Alma,” “Mariposa” and “Seductora.”
“Ágape” also features contributions from musicians including saxophonist Ed Calle, bassist Carlitos del Puerto and pianist Manuel Gamez. Ormo, who was born in Maracaibo and is based in Miami, has previously released the albums “Alquimia” and “Indomable.”
The album was released on August 18, 2026, and is available on streaming platforms.
Isemylee blends Konpa, Afro-Caribbean sounds and R&B on “Did You Love Me?”
Haitian artist Isemylee has released “Did You Love Me? (Kèm Fè Silans),” a heartbreak song that explores disappointment, emotional exhaustion and questioning whether a relationship was genuine.
The track combines Konpa, Afro-Caribbean influences and contemporary R&B, with Isemylee singing in Haitian Creole, French and English. The multilingual approach reflects her Haitian roots while the lyrics focus on the uncertainty that follows the end of a relationship.
“Did You Love Me?” adds to Isemylee’s catalogue, which includes collaborations with Flav of Gabel, Teslah, Trouble Boy Hitmaker and Yani Martelly. She was also featured alongside Yani Martelly, Florence El Luche and Tonymix on “Voye Dlo.”
