UK-based Nigerian producer and composer Jayshow has released a new single “Wanted Man”, featuring Feisty Savage and Weird Uzoma.
Inspired by Jayshow’s work on cinematic scoring, the blends atmospheric production with a sense of tension and movement, built around the idea of living under pressure and navigating isolation. Similar to a character on the run within a film narrative.
“What makes this track slightly different from a typical release is that it was created with a strong cinematic intention,” explains Jayshow. “Rather than just focusing on melody, I approached it as a piece that could sit naturally within film, television, or visual storytelling — something that carries mood, space, and emotional direction”
“For “Wanted Man”, the focus was to create a track that feels like a scene — something minimal but expressive, where the listener can almost visualise the environment and character behind the sound.”
One of Jayshow’s compositions was recently placed on the U.S. television programme Entertainment Tonight, and his catalogue has generated international performance royalties across platforms including BBC Radio 1Xtra, MTV Base, and Netflix
He’s contributed music to projects such as Spa with Osas and Good Bad and Wahala, where he worked as a composer.

The project’s identity remains hidden, letting the music speak for itself.
The visual identity is anchored by a hand-painted, hand-carved mask designed and sourced in The Gambia. This mask is the only ‘face’ of the project — culturally grounded, visually striking, and the centrepiece of every piece of content, press image, and brand asset.
The debut single “You Can’t Beat Me (Gambia Forever)” is a high- energy, culturally enriched track that sits firmly in the Afrobeats/Afropop space. The song is a celebration of Gambian identity, resilience, and pride.
