Nigerian singer and songwriter Viveeyan has released “My Home,” an alternative single exploring intimacy, emotional connection and the feeling of finding a sense of belonging in another person.
The song frames love as a place of refuge, where familiarity and closeness offer a pause from the outside world. It follows Viveeyan’s five-track EP Solstice, released in March 2026, which explored identity and emotional complexity through character-driven storytelling.
“My Home” is presented in three versions: the full recording, a no-drums arrangement and a stripped version. The no-drums edition removes percussion while retaining the song’s instrumentation and vocal layers, while the stripped version centres on the lead vocal and a pared-back arrangement.
Produced by Outgun Onkar and mixed and mastered by Mike Thielk, the release continues the alternative direction introduced on “Shapeshifting,” the opening track of Solstice.
“My Home” is available on streaming platforms.
