Eleegal Teams Up With El Akili for New Afrobeats Single “Stubborn”

Fast-rising Nigerian-born, Poland-based Afrobeats artist Eleegal has released a global new single “Stubborn,” featuring EL Akili.

Built on a smooth Afrobeats foundation, “Stubborn” blends laid-back, feel-good rhythms with a strong motivational core. At its heart, the song is about resilience—choosing to stay focused, push through setbacks, and remain committed to personal goals no matter what life throws your way.

Inspired by real-life struggles and everyday perseverance, “Stubborn” carries a calm but determined energy. It speaks directly to dreamers, hustlers, and anyone navigating pressure while trying to stay true to their path. Rather than focusing on struggle alone, the record reframes it as fuel for growth and self-belief.

Speaking on the release, Eleegal describes “Stubborn” as more than just a song:

“It’s about staying true to your path no matter what life throws at you. It’s for everyone chasing something bigger than themselves.”
