    Musically, the track reflects a profound internal struggle. Born from a collaborative process with co-producer , the song shifted from a personal narrative to a universal exploration of “The Noise.” As the artist explains, it is about the “hand that held the spoon” and the “sweat traded for someone else’s clean slate”—devotion that is consumed but never acknowledged.

    They describe the song as “not mainstream Afropop or Amapiano track, but more on the alternative and atmospheric side”

    MasaHY’s genre-fluid production—drawing from R&B, Dancehall Reggae, Jazz Fusion, and Funk—creates a rich sonic landscape that feels both modern and timeless. 

    The collaboration bridges Tokyo’s forward-thinking beat culture with the global energy of African rhythm, highlighting how contemporary music continues to evolve through cross-cultural exchange and shared creative vision.

    Japanese Artist Akihisa Yorozu Shares the Last Single of his Self-Created Genre “Transplex-AG-Omega”

    With the release of his new single “Transplex-AG-Omega”, Japanese singer, data scientist and IT strategist Akihisa Yorozu is announcing the end of his Transplex era.

    Transplex is a music genre he created himself, fusing a unique blend of EDM and science to create a a harmony between structure and emotion, science and art. 

    “Transplex-AG-Omega” is one of the songs on his Akihisa’s new album TRANSPLEX AG: Algorithm God.

    The track his latest from his self-created genre TRANSPLEX, which he describes as the the world’s first scientifically defined dance-music genre.

    Akihisa explains: “It’s grounded in information theory and auditory neuroscience. 

    Too complex for Trance. That’s why it’s called TRANSPLEX.”

    Japanese Artist AKIHISA YOROZU Introduces Transplex- The World’s First Scientifically Defined Dance Music Genre

    TRANSPLEX is the world’s first scientifically defined dance music genre, grounded in information theory and auditory neuroscience.

    It fuses the technical precision of Complextro with the emotional clarity of trance, achieving what creator  AKIHISA Yorozu calls the “Optimal Complexity Zone” where energy, emotion, and cognition reach perfect balance.

    “TRANSPLEX was not born by chance,” says the Japanese electronic music artist. “It was engineered through science. Every rhythm and modulation is calculated to maximize engagement, emotion, and memory.

    It’s not just music; it’s a neuroscientific experiment in beauty and complexity.”

    Japanese Cannes Lions-Winning Composer Yuma Yamaguchi Launches New Project “Concordia”

    Yuma Yamaguchi—a Cannes Lions Award-winning  composer known for his work in film, TV, and commercials—has launched a new music project titled Concordia

    The project kicks off with the release of the original track “Concordia” on Wednesday, April 2, followed by a biweekly remix series featuring top-tier musicians from around the globe.

    Originally composed for CONCORDIA, Japan’s largest-scale interactive beach art projection event held at Odaiba Beach Park from November 2023 to January 2024, the track showcases Yamaguchi’s signature blend of minimalistic piano and orchestral textures. Featuring frequent collaborator and vocalist RANU, the piece builds to a powerful finale with intense percussion and beats.

    The remix series features contributions from:

    • Yuta Bandoh, acclaimed for his collaborations with artists like Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru

    Utada, and for scoring projects such as Kaiju No. 8, and Belle.

    • bastiengoat, a California-based producer whose tracks have been played by top DJs worldwide, including during Yaeji’s set at Boiler Room: New York.

    • Dorian Concept, the Vienna-born keyboardist and producer known for collaborations with Flying Lotus and Thundercat, who brings his intricate sonic palette to the project.

    The music video, starring the performance collective NOMENTokyo, premiered on April 2  Directed by Shogo Tominaga (LQVE), the video is a collaboration with creative unit SEKAISEIFUKU—a partnership between Tominaga and NOMENTokyo—who translate the musical universe of Concordia into a lyrical and dreamlike visual narrative.

    Artwork is by the acclaimed visual artist buggy, with logo and graphic design by Shunsuke Kosaka.
