Nigerian artist Gwan Moko has released his new single, “ZOZA,” a song shaped by his personal experiences with faith, purpose and family.
According to Gwan, the record came to him unexpectedly at a time when he was not actively looking for a song or trying to develop a particular sound. He initially did not fully understand the record but came to view it as a personal confirmation of his faith and beliefs.
His mother was also involved during the creation of “ZOZA,” making the recording process a significant family experience for the artist.
Musically, the song pairs its spiritual themes with a groovy and uplifting sound. Gwan describes the record as being about maintaining faith during periods of uncertainty and finding meaning in unexpected moments.
For Gwan, “ZOZA” represents his belief in God’s presence and the continued unfolding of his purpose.
