    German Artists Jiggler, Matija & Richard Elcox Collaborate on New Single “Night Shades (Trust Your Emotions Remix)”

    Berlin artist Jiggler has a new EP called Night Shades, released in September as Summer was slowly but surely coming to an end in the Western Hemisphere and the nights were getting longer again. 

    Jiggler is one half of former Bar 25 favourite Channel X. 

    The first track, “Night Shades”, which shares its name with the EP, captivates with its driving groove and wonderfully dreamy yet uplifting lead synth. 

    With the second original,  “Voyager”, the journey through the night continues seamlessly, albeit in a more rousing and darker way. Jiggler is supported by a total of three artists with their own interpretations of the originals: Richard Elcox, the Scottish Berliner by choice, who was already playing around with his brother’s Korg MS-20 at the age of 11 and the well-known Matija and Contenance here in Zurich. The former has been part of the local scene for over three decades, the latter is well on his way to emulating Matija.

    German Artist Sven Exner Celebrates the Spirit of African Football as he Dedicates New Single “Rise for Africa” to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

    German artist and producer, Sven Exner, has just released an anthem titled “Rise for Africa!” that not only celebrates the spirit of the Africa Cup of Nations but also the unity, pride, and love for Africa that transcends borders. 

    Inspired by Sven’s recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya,the song captures the electric atmosphere of anticipation surrounding the event and emphasizes the bond that sport brings to the people of Africa, even for those nations not directly competing.

    With a chorus that chants, “Ayé Africa – raise your voice, feel the fire!” the song embodies the relentless energy, pride, and unity that come with the love for football and the continent itself. Through a fusion of English and French lyrics, Sven Exner connects a diverse audience, evoking a sense of shared identity and hope.

    The song opens with a stirring call-and-response from a crowd, instantly setting a celebratory tone, before moving into its anthemic verses that speak of ambition, dreams, and the fiery hearts of Africans everywhere. The lyrics reflect the journey from humble beginnings to a future filled with glory, where the beautiful game unites people from all walks of life.

    Sven Exner, who wrote and produced the track, explains, “When I visited Kenya earlier this year, I felt the intensity, the excitement, and the collective pride around the Africa Cup. Although Kenya wasn’t in the tournament, the love and passion for African football were so evident. It’s that spirit of unity and pride that I wanted to capture in this song.”

    German artist Giddens is  back with a new single “Obroni Kokoo” a blend of Afrobeats,  Afro fusion and Afrohouse rhythms.

    “Obroni Kokoo”  blends Ghanaian Pidgin storytelling and the title means “Red Foreigner” in Twi — a nickname he grew up with as a mixed-race kid between Accra and Germany. 

    This track captures hi dual identity: diasporic roots, raw emotion, and global sound.
