Davido has released the music video for “Already Falling,” featuring his wife, Chioma Adeleke. The video revisits the couple’s relationship, with the singer proposing to Chioma again in a scene that echoes his original proposal in 2019.
The release adds to the couple’s appearances in Davido’s music videos, following “Assurance,” released in 2018, and “1 Milli,” released in 2020. Both videos featured Chioma and centred on their relationship.
“Assurance” arrived as Davido publicly celebrated their relationship, while “1 Milli” explored themes of commitment and marriage. The new video continues that thread, placing their relationship at the centre of the visuals.
Davido and Chioma first met in 2013 while he was studying at Babcock University. Their relationship became publicly known in 2018, and Davido proposed to her in London in September 2019.
The couple legally married in March 2023, held their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024, and celebrated their white wedding in Miami, Florida, in August 2025. The Miami ceremony brought together family, friends and guests from the entertainment industry.
“Already Falling” was released as a song on July 31, 2026. Its music video places Chioma alongside Davido once again, with the renewed proposal serving as a central moment in the visuals.
