Ayra Starr’s “Starrgirl” was displayed on the pitch-side advertising boards during Barcelona’s La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao.
The placement comes shortly after “Starrgirl” debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard World Albums chart for the week ending August 29, 2026. Released on August 14, the 16-track album entered the chart behind three K-pop projects, while Tyla’s “APOP” followed at No. 5. The chart debut marked Ayra Starr’s first appearance on the Billboard World Albums chart as a solo artist.
“Starrgirl” is Ayra Starr’s third studio album and features collaborations with Wizkid, Rema, ZAYN, Leon Thomas, kwn, Theodora and Danny Ocean.
Odumodublvck has said he would die for his woman as Christ died for him, in a post linked to his ongoing feud with BlaqBonez over a woman they had both been intimate with.
The rapper’s latest comments come after he revealed on Wednesday that BlaqBonez had called him to say he had previously been in a friends-with-benefits relationship with his girlfriend. Odumodublvck said BlaqBonez contacted him believing he was unaware of their past involvement.
The dispute over the woman has been identified by both rappers as a major part of the breakdown in their former friendship. BlaqBonez previously said that he and the woman had been intimate without him knowing she was also involved with Odumodublvck.
Amid the renewed clash, Odumodublvck wrote on X: “The same way Christ died for my sins, I, Odumodublvck, will die for my woman.”
He described the sentiment as “gangstar love” and “true love,” adding that money cannot buy the bond and that talking strengthens the relationship.
Odumodublvck has continued his public dispute with fellow Nigerian rapper BlaqBonez, accusing him of contacting him to disclose a previous friends-with-benefits relationship with his girlfriend and making further allegations about his conduct.
In a series of posts on X, Odumodublvck claimed BlaqBonez called him with the intention of telling him that he had previously been involved with his girlfriend.
“THIS NIGGA @BlaqBonez BUZZED ME WITH THE INTENTION OF TELLING ME THAT HE WAS FRIENDS WITH BENEFIT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND A LONG TIME AGO, THINKING I AM UNAWARE,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck questioned why BlaqBonez would reveal the information himself rather than allow the woman to decide whether and when to tell him.
“WHO ARE YOU TO TAKE AWAY HER LIBERTY TO TELL ME IF YOU NO WAN SPOIL HER LIFE,” he wrote, before accusing BlaqBonez of threatening, bullying and harassing her.
He also claimed BlaqBonez later contacted him to ask why he had not attended a Jeriq show.
In another post, Odumodublvck alleged that BlaqBonez called again under the guise of checking on his welfare.
“THE IDIOT BUZZ ME SAY E WAN CHECK ON MY WELFARE 😂😂😂,” he wrote.
According to Odumodublvck, BlaqBonez then asked: “WHY YOU DEY VEX FOR ME LIKE THIS? NA BECAUSE OF YOUR BABE? SHE NO TELL YOU WETIN WE BE BEFORE?”
Odumodublvck subsequently challenged BlaqBonez over allegations involving a woman, questioning why he had not taken legal action if he believed he had been falsely accused.
“IF YOU SAY WOMAN FALSELY ACCUSE YOU, YOU SUPPOSE DON SUE THE WOMAN BY NOW,” he wrote. “WHY YOU NEVER SUE AM?”
He then made further allegations about BlaqBonez’s interactions with the police, claiming that the rapper had spent time in a cell, later apologized in writing in the presence of his lawyers, and requested to apologize verbally to the person he was publicly criticizing after being asked to leave a police station.
“RAP BEEF BUT YOU SLEEP FOR CELL,” Odumodublvck wrote. “RAP BEEF BUT YOU DON APOLOGIZE VIA A HANDWRITTEN APOLOGY IN FRONT OF YOUR LAWYERS.”
He also accused BlaqBonez of sexual abuse, repeatedly describing him as a “sexual abuser.” The allegations have not been independently established in the posts.
Odumodublvck framed his response as a defence of his girlfriend, saying he would stand by her regardless of public opinion.
“BASED ON SAY DEM KNOW SAY SOCIETY GO SAY ‘NA BECAUSE OF WOMAN,’” he wrote. “UNFORTUNATELY ME I NO BE SOCIETY.”
“I LOVE MY WOMAN AND I GO DIE FOR AM IF NEED BE,” he added.
Odumodublvck also said that if he had not publicly addressed the matter, it could have remained within the context of their rap dispute.
“IF I DID NOT ACT LIKE THE SO CALLED MAD MAN YOU GUYS SAY I AM, THIS MATTER WILL HAVE GONE UNDER THE RADAR OF RAP BEEF,” he wrote.
He ended one of his posts by suggesting that the artists involved could eventually reunite.
“ONE DAY WE GO ALL ASSEMBLE AGAIN,” he wrote. “TILL THAT DAY. PEACE AND LOVE. 🙏🏿❤️”
The latest allegations follow BlaqBonez’s earlier account that he had been in a friends-with-benefits relationship with the same woman Odumodublvck was dating, without initially knowing that she was in a relationship with the rapper.
Davido has suggested that he could walk away from music following his ongoing exchange with Nigerian rapper Erigga over comments about musicians who come from family money.
The dispute began after Erigga wrote on X: “Shoutout to all the musicians who don’t come from family money and had to grind for every single dollar they earn.”
Davido responded by defending artists who come from wealthy families but still worked to build their careers, calling Erigga’s post “useless motivation” and referring to him as an “imbecile.”
Erigga subsequently criticized Davido’s response, questioning why musicians without family wealth could not celebrate their achievements.
Davido has now returned to the exchange, writing: “No worry o I go soon leave their music for una GO MAKE MY BILLIONS … then that shit gonna be boring AF.”
He followed the post with: “Deep down who like poverty?”
Davido also responded to a user who claimed that without his father’s wealth, he would have been “just another Mr MayD.”
“Says the face of a chimpanzee,” Davido replied.

Erigga subsequently addressed the use of “imbecile,” bringing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities into the conversation.
“Big love to everyone on the spectrum, Down syndrome, autism, etc… it can never be cool to insult people with a disease,” he wrote.
He then returned to the subject of family wealth, questioning why his original shoutout appeared to provoke Davido.
“NA SHOUTOUT TO THE ONES WHEN GET IT OUT THE MUD WITHOUT FAMILY MONEY DEY MAKE DAVID CRASH OUT?” Erigga wrote. “From where to where??”
“Big man pikin dey cry say poor men children de hail dem self???” he added. “Motivate your self naw.”
Erigga went on to label Davido the “Ambassador of RICH KIDS,” asking: “Because ur papa get money make we no happy again for our small wins???”
The rapper also made the dispute more personal, writing: “I’m disappointed IN YOU SLOVIDO.”
“NA ME U WAN BULLY? NA ME U WAN OPPRESS?” he added.
The exchange has since developed into a wider argument over family wealth, privilege and the meaning of being self-made in the Nigerian music industry.

ODUMODUBLVCK’s legal representatives have said the rapper is not wanted by the Nigeria Police Force and has no outstanding arrest warrant, following an attempted arrest in Lagos on August 29.
In a statement dated August 31, the lawyers representing Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, known professionally as Odumodublvck, said the rapper has not evaded or resisted any lawful process and has responded to legitimate police invitations through his legal team.
According to the statement, the matter that allegedly led to the attempted arrest is already being handled by the Inspector General of Police’s Monitoring Unit and is also before an Abuja Magistrate Court.
The legal team argued that because the matter is pending before the court, it should not have resulted in a separate invitation or attempted arrest by another police command.
They said a formal response addressing what they described as a duplication of investigative activity across multiple police commands has been sent to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Lagos State Police Command, with a copy sent to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2.
The lawyers have also requested an urgent inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the events of August 29.
The statement further said Odumodublvck continues to cooperate with the appropriate authorities through his legal representatives and remains committed to due process.
The legal team urged the public and media to disregard speculation about the matter and rely on verified statements from his representatives.
The statement was signed by Adokiye, legal representative to Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu.
ODUMODUBLVCK reportedly faced an attempted arrest after performing at BOHO on Saturday morning.
Daygenius, an associate of the rapper and podcaster, claimed in a post that individuals attempted to arrest ODUMODUBLVCK following his performance.

According to Daygenius, the rapper presented a court document that prevented the arrest from going ahead. He also stated that the matter is already before the court and that ODUMODUBLVCK’s lawyers are handling it.
The circumstances surrounding the reported incident, including the identity of those who allegedly attempted to make the arrest and the basis for it, have not been independently confirmed.

Nigerian singer Siraheem, born Raheem Okoya, has announced his decision to stop releasing new music, describing the move as a “professional exit” from the music industry.
The singer shared the announcement in a statement on Wednesday, reflecting on a musical journey that began as a hobby with his friends before becoming a professional pursuit.
“My career began simply; music was a hobby I made with my boys as a means of bonding and connection before it was anything else,” he wrote.
According to Siraheem, balancing music with his other commitments has become increasingly difficult over the past year. He said he no longer feels able to give music the “effort, patience, and dedication” it deserves.
“So I owe it to my true fans, and to my colleagues in this industry, a professional exit. I have decided to stop putting out new music,” he said.
Siraheem’s music career included songs such as “Bad Bitch Syndrome” and “Credit Alert”, as well as collaborations with artists including Teni and Bloody Civilian. “Bad Bitch Syndrome Part II”, featuring Teni, Bloody Civilian and Deto Black, was released in May 2026.
His decision comes as he continues to balance music with his corporate responsibilities. Siraheem is an executive director at Eleganza Industrial City Limited, the company founded by his father, billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya. Earlier this year, he discussed the difficulty of managing both careers, describing the executive role as demanding while also pursuing music.
Despite stepping away from music professionally, Siraheem said his creativity is not going anywhere. He plans to explore other creative fields and return with new ventures.
“The ‘Siraheem music’ era may be closing, but the creative in me is still hungry for new challenges,” he said.
He also revealed that he has an unreleased album recorded over the past year, which he considers some of his best material yet. While he has decided against putting out new music for now, he suggested the project could still be released in the future.
“Music still remains therapeutic for me,” he wrote. “With time, maybe the album finds its way into the world somehow after all.”
Siraheem thanked the fans, colleagues and supporters who invested in his music career, saying he was grateful for the opportunity to pursue the dream.
