Bodo Bifroest has released “Cruising Down The City Light,” a laid-back Afrobeats and Afropop track inspired by late-night drives and the sense of freedom found on the open road.
Blending Afrobeats, Afropop, Pidgin rap, and soulful male and female vocals, the song reflects on the quiet moments that come with driving through familiar streets after dark. Warm grooves, melodic production, and atmospheric textures create a soundtrack for reflection, escape, and self-discovery.
Created by German producer Felix M. Gerlach under the Bodo Bifroest project, “Cruising Down The City Light” combines contemporary African-inspired rhythms with pop influences, exploring themes of movement, peace of mind, and finding clarity through everyday experiences.
“Cruising Down The City Light” is out now on streaming platforms.
