    The track blends contemporary Amapiano rhythms with modern Afro-Pop influenced production, creating a warm, groove-driven sound that reflects Amayli’s global musical approach.

    The Amayli project focuses primarily on modern African pop music, drawing inspiration from Afro-Pop, Afrobeats, and related styles. Its sound blends rhythmic grooves with melodic accessibility, enriched by guitar-driven elements and subtle influences from funk, soul, pop, and R&B.;

    Built around international collaborations, Amayli works closely with vocalists and musicians from Africa and the African diaspora.

    German Artist Metri Shares Amapiano Summer Anthem “Run Kakalika”

    With an infectious mix of deep log drums, hypnotic shaker loops, and a clear message against negativity, Munich-based artist Metri releases his new Amapiano single “Run Kakalika”. 

    The title “Run Kakalika” metaphorically refers to running away from fake friends and toxic influences (inspired by the West African slang for “Kakalika” / cockroach). It’s about keeping your circle clean and not letting others bring you down.

    “With this track, I wanted to create a feeling of liberation. When the bass kicks in, you should forget everything negative,” says Metri. “We want to vibe, dance, and feel good. If you’re causing stress, you gotta go – Run Kakalika!”

    Ghanian Rapper Kwesi Slay  Returns From Seven-Year Hiatus with Amapiano Single “YOLO”

    Ghanaian artist Kwesi Slay is back with YOLO” a feel-good, motivational track with Amapiano and Afrobeats vibes.

    The rapper’s second release of the year, ‘Yolo,’ is a humble declaration that promises a reborn Kwesi Slay with deeper artistic resolve.

    Born Bernard Kwesi Appiah, Kwesi Slay made his 2018 debut with  “Seven,” featuring Kwesi Arthur.

    He went on to  release several collaborations with Medikal (‘Frass’), Quamina MP (‘Pussy Cat’), and Kuami Eugene (‘Follow Me’)

    Early this year he returned from a seven year hiatus with the Afro-Soul single  ‘Tuutu Doo.’

    “I needed to disconnect to realign,” Kwesi Slay reveals. “My break was a period of recalibration and creative rebirth. I needed a break to gather strength to come back stronger. Through it all, I’ve lived, grown, and now, I’m ready to speak again, louder than ever before.”

    Enter ‘Yolo,’ an Afrobeats anthem meant to reignite the artist’s passion for music. This upbeat track is centered on the universal truth: you only live once. Or as Kwesi Slay plainly puts it: “How you dey live today? Nobody dey care. If you die today? Nobody dey care.”
