    MENTAVIBE releases new single “Maneno”

    MENTAVIBE has released “Maneno,” an Afro-Pop and Afro-Fusion track about the lasting impact of words, memory and truth. The title is shortened from the Swahili phrase “Maneno Hayazeeki,” meaning “Words Do Not Age.”

    Written, composed and produced by Juergen Joe Bauer, the song combines organic percussion, melodic bass and layered Swahili vocals. Its lyrics contrast physical changes in the world with the lasting influence of spoken words, focusing on expressions of love and speaking out against injustice.

    MENTAVIBE is an independent music project created by Bauer, combining African rhythms, electronic production and Swahili vocals.

    Born in Yaoundé and now based in Montreal, Canada, YF ROSE draws on African rhythms alongside themes of migration, relationships, ambition and life in the city. His music reflects the experience of navigating different cultural influences while building a life away from home.

    His previous releases include “U SEE ME?”, “FROM AFRICA,” “IF HE CAN’T, I CAN” and “CHOICES.” He began singing and learning piano and guitar at the age of six.
