Isemylee blends Konpa, Afro-Caribbean sounds and R&B on “Did You Love Me?”
Haitian artist Isemylee has released “Did You Love Me? (Kèm Fè Silans),” a heartbreak song that explores disappointment, emotional exhaustion and questioning whether a relationship was genuine.
The track combines Konpa, Afro-Caribbean influences and contemporary R&B, with Isemylee singing in Haitian Creole, French and English. The multilingual approach reflects her Haitian roots while the lyrics focus on the uncertainty that follows the end of a relationship.
“Did You Love Me?” adds to Isemylee’s catalogue, which includes collaborations with Flav of Gabel, Teslah, Trouble Boy Hitmaker and Yani Martelly. She was also featured alongside Yani Martelly, Florence El Luche and Tonymix on “Voye Dlo.”
