Angolan DJ and producer Hyron Wolff has released Wild Instincts II, a five-track EP that moves between Afro House, Afro Tech and 3-Step.

Released through Wolff’s independent label, Alkateia Records, the project explores themes including love, connection and instinct. The songs incorporate vocals in African languages alongside electronic production built around sub-bass, percussion and atmospheric textures.

The EP opens with “Ngiyakuthanda,” featuring Kerry Assis, followed by “Born To Be Wild.” “Lerato,” featuring Tsimo, “Control” and “Prophecy” complete the five-track project.

Across the EP, Wolff moves between the warmer textures of Afro House and the more driving rhythms of Afro Tech and 3-Step, while maintaining a connection to African vocal and rhythmic traditions.

Wolff is based in Portugal, where he also runs Alkateia Records. His work spans Afro House and other forms of contemporary African electronic music.
