Cristalz releases FIFA World Cup-inspired anthem “Gede (Latambula)”

Cristalz has released a new single titled “Gede (Latambula)”.

The track is described as a blend of Afrobeats and Zimbabwean drum and guitar traditions. It serves as the debut release of ZINZA, a musical style developed by the British-Zimbabwean singer, songwriter, and producer.

“Gede (Latambula)” centers on themes of pan-African identity, celebration, and cultural connection. According to the artist, the song was created with a sense of collective joy and unity, carrying what the artist describes as a FIFA World Cup-style atmosphere built around movement, culture, and shared experience.

The release introduces the ZINZA concept, inspired by the Shona word “dzinza” meaning clan or lineage. Cristalz describes the idea as a shared rhythm and identity that connects people through music and dance.

Cristalz is currently working on his debut album, King Energy, scheduled for release later this year.

“Gede (Latambula)” by Cristalz is available on digital streaming platforms.
