UK-based Nigerian gospel singer and worship leader Bayo Daniels has released “Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer),” a contemporary gospel song inspired by the Christian prayer. The track was released on September 25, 2026.
The song blends Afrogospel rhythms with contemporary gospel production, combining English and Nigerian Pidgin lyrics centred on gratitude, faith and God’s love. Its lyrics draw on the familiar opening of the Lord’s Prayer while expressing themes of spiritual confidence and divine protection.
Bayo co-wrote the song with Tobby Daniels, who also produced it. The release is accompanied by an official music video on YouTube.
“Our Father (The Lord’s Prayer)” is available on streaming platforms.
