Ayra Starr moves London show from O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire to O2 Academy Brixton due to high demand

Ayra Starr has moved her London show on the Starrgirl World Tour from O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire to O2 Academy Brixton due to high demand.

The original venue, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, has a capacity of approximately 2,000, while O2 Academy Brixton can accommodate around 4,900 people. The move increases the venue’s capacity by nearly 3,000, following complaints from fans who questioned whether the original location could accommodate demand for the show.

Before the change, reports indicated that more than 11,000 people were in the presale queue for the London date, prompting fans to call for a larger venue or an additional show.

The London concert is scheduled for February 2, 2027, as part of the Starrgirl World Tour. Announced on October 12, the tour will begin in Cologne, Germany, on January 20 before continuing across Europe and the UK. The North American leg is scheduled to begin in Houston on March 18.

The tour supports Ayra Starr’s third studio album, Starrgirl, released on August 14, 2026.
