Independent songwriter and producer Adam Burnett has released “Breaking Every Circle,” a house track featuring vocalist Carmen Elise.
The song draws from 1990s piano house and contemporary dance-pop production, with lyrics focused on resilience, ambition and moving beyond other people’s expectations.
For Elise, the release follows her graduation from university and comes ahead of her work as a professional performer at Disneyland Paris. Burnett describes the song as a response to the limitations placed on independent creatives and the pressure to remain within established expectations.
